Orangeburg County’s Most Wanted Program
The Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office maintains an official Most Wanted feature and a separate Submit a Tip page. The program is a curated public communication channel; the research did not find that it lists every outstanding warrant or every court.
The official Sheriff page holds whatever current program content the agency chooses to display. This resource links to that source only. It never republishes names, photographs, addresses, or case narratives.
Orangeburg County Most Wanted Page Scope
The Orangeburg County page checked on 22 September 2026 says that no wanted individuals are displayed. That is a page-state observation, not a statement that the county has no warrants. The page does not publish a full database, selection rules, update schedule, or archive policy.
Check the official page directly for its current content. A screenshot or cached page can be out of date, and a curated list cannot verify an individual’s status.
The county’s Most Wanted page links readers to the Sheriff’s current program presentation. The page below describes the public process only.
How the Most Wanted Lists Work
A Most Wanted page is a selective agency feature, not a live index of all arrest and bench warrants. The county’s research does not establish who qualifies, how often the page changes, or whether an old entry remains after a status change. Ask the Sheriff or issuing court for an official answer.
Note: The Sheriff page has no stated refresh interval; presence or absence there is not a complete county warrant-status check.
Orangeburg County Holly Hill Warrant Labels
Holly Hill Police publishes its own Most Wanted feature, separate from Orangeburg County’s page. The town uses AW for arrest warrant and BW for bench warrant in its program labels. The labels explain categories; the town page does not make it a countywide roster.
Holly Hill’s page warns the public not to attempt apprehension. Use the police tip contact shown by the town, and do not reproduce any person-level listing elsewhere.
Holly Hill’s official program page is the source for its own terms and safety direction.
Reporting a Tip Safely
The Sheriff’s Submit a Tip page is for information, not a crime in progress and not a warrant-status check. It lists a non-emergency contact, an online submission route, and text instructions. The source reviewed does not state a reward amount or promise an anonymous reward.
- Call 911 for an emergency or a crime in progress.
- For non-emergency information, use 803-534-3550 or the Sheriff’s official tip form.
- For text submission, send OCSOTIPS followed by the message to 274637.
- Do not approach, follow, or try to detain anyone; leave response to law enforcement.
Key Point: A tip is not a warrant check. The official Sheriff instructions distinguish emergency calls from information reports, and no reward policy was found.
The Sheriff’s Submit a Tip page carries the current contact instructions.
Orangeburg County Pending Warrant Reports Differ
The FY24 report lists 3,218 Orangeburg warrants as pending and 2,649 as disposed during the year. Its pending category includes matters reported to the Clerk, including diversion, treatment-court, and transferred cases. It is not a Most Wanted roster or a headcount of people currently sought by the Sheriff.
These figures come from a prosecution-coordination report, while the public list is a separate Sheriff program. They answer different questions and should not be used to estimate how many names belong on the curated page.
The FY24 report defines its measures.
Most Wanted Lists vs Active Warrants
A curated public feature and the operational file are different things. The county page does not claim to be complete, and South Carolina has no public statewide person-name warrant portal identified in the official research. Check the issuing court or Sheriff for current status. For wider list limits and verification routes, see Orangeburg County outstanding warrants.
| Feature | Most Wanted List | Active Warrant |
|---|---|---|
| Scope | Selected public feature maintained by an agency | Separate court or law-enforcement status records |
| Who controls it | Sheriff’s Office program page | Issuing court and service agency |
| What a public result means | Shows only what the agency posts | Public case tools may not show every status detail |
| How to verify | Use official page and tip directions | Call the issuing court or Sheriff Warrant line |
No Orangeburg County Warrant Roundup Located
The official county, Sheriff, Clerk, and local court sources reviewed did not identify a warrant-amnesty week, blanket recall, or county roundup. The County Most Wanted and tip pages are public-safety channels, not amnesty programs.
South Carolina’s driver-license suspension amnesty is a separate DMV process. It should not be presented as an Orangeburg warrant recall or as a promise that a city court case is cleared.
If a future event is announced, confirm its sponsor, dates, qualifying cases, payment terms, and appearance rules directly with the issuing court.
Orangeburg County Warrant and Tip Routes
Different questions have different official contacts. Call 911 for an emergency. Use 803-534-3550 for non-emergency Sheriff contact or the official online/text tip route for information. Call 803-533-5803 for a possible county warrant status question.
A tip route cannot verify a court record. The Warrant line cannot replace a municipal clerk’s file, and a public index cannot confirm every service update. Keep a note of the date, office, and direction given.
If You Think You Are Listed
If you believe a county listing concerns you, confirm the current information through an attorney and the Sheriff Warrant line. Ask which court issued the process and whether the court requires counsel, an appearance, surrender, bond, or a motion to recall. Keep the court’s written direction.
The county page is not a status guarantee. A name’s presence or absence should be checked with the official source before any action.
Important: Do not approach or confront anyone. Contact an attorney and the issuing court about a safe, lawful way to address your own case.
